Disney World Motorcoach and
Monorail Transportation
Transportation to your Disney Resort
-
If you are staying at a
Disney World Resort, you can take advantage of the free
Magical Express transfers and baggage handling. This free service
will save you at least $40 per person on transportation from the
airport. It is a great service! Disney motorcoach transportation will
take you from the Orlando International Airport to your Disney Resort.
Plus, Disney will pick up your luggage from Baggage Claim at the airport
and will deliver it to your room 2-3 hours after you check in. You will
also get transfers back to the Orlando International Airport after your
Disney World vacation. If you do need the Magical Express,
please let your Disney Specialist know so they can add your airlines and
flight numbers to your reservation for this service.

You can also take a taxi
(from the taxi lane at the airport), Towncar Transfers, Limo Transfers,
shuttle transfers, or rent a car to get to your hotel.
Transportation Around Disney World
-
Once you arrive to your
Disney World Resort or Downtown Disney Hotel, you will never have to
drive. Disney offers the free motorcoach transportation to anywhere at
the Walt Disney World Resort including Disney Theme Parks, Waterparks,
Downtown Disney, and other Disney Resorts. The Disney World Resorts run
every 15-25 minutes to anywhere at Disney World. The Downtown Disney
Hotels have shuttle schedules. Check with the front desk when you
arrive for the schedules. Some of the Disney World Resorts also offer
monorail transportation, water taxi transportation, and even ferry boat
transportation.

Parks

Disney does not offer
transportation to Universal Studios, Sea World, or other attractions
outside of the Disney World property. If you want to visit another park
during your vacation, you will have to arrange your own transportation.
Universal Studios just started offering a shuttle from the Disney
Resorts to either Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure for a small
fee. You can also rent an Alamo Car Rental from the Walt Disney World
Car Care Center for the day or you can also take a taxi. If you need
help with your extra transportation or tickets to another Orlando
attraction, just let your Disney Specialist know and they are happy to
help.
-
Universal Studios also does
not offer transportation to Disney World. If you are staying at
Universal Studios and want to visit Disney World, you can take a taxi or
rent a car. All of the Universal Studios Hotels have a Concierge Desk
that can help you with your car rental right on property.
