General Itinerary Tips

  • Visit Magic Kingdom during the Weekdays (Monday-Thursday)

  • Visit Epcot during the Weekday (Monday-Thursday)

  • Take advantage of evening Extra Magic Hours

  • Skip the Morning Extra Magic Hours (unless you have preschoolers)

  • Always arrive to the Disney Theme Parks at least 15 minutes before the gates open to hit most of the park before the crowds hit at 11:00 AM

  • Once the gates open head right to the more popular rides - do not get stuck getting Character pictures.  You will have time to do this later.  Hit the more popular rides and attractions and then enjoy the Character Meet & Greets later.

  • Take full advantage of FastPass to maximize your time at the Disney Theme Parks

  • Around lunch time, take a break and head back to your Disney Resort for a nap or swim, and then head back to the Disney Theme Parks in the evening.

  • Hit more popular rides and attractions during parades or firework shows

  • If it rains, don't leave the park. Hang out until the rain stops and you will have an empty Theme Park to play!

  • Take advantage of Tip Boards, Disney Mobile, or Twitter for ride line times as you are wandering the park

These are a few tips to help maximize your time at the Disney Theme Parks.  Check out the planned itineraries below:
