Disney does have some construction at this resort, while they are building the new Disney Vacation Club Resort.  The construction is not affecting the guest experience, but there is construction at this resort.

From the dramatic art in the main tower with sleek monorails cruising overhead, to the casual style and convenience of Garden Rooms looking out over the beach, this is a Disney experience not to be missed.  You can also get a bird's eye-view of the Magic Kindom fireworks in the award-winning California Grill, perched atop the resort.

  Best Features of this Resort:

• This resort is one of the original Disney World Resorts but just recently went through a renovation.  Most of the rooms are brand new with amazing modern features including a flat screen TV

• This is the most popular resort for families with teens because there are so many activities right at the resort including Sammy Duval Watersports with parasailing, wake boarding, and waterskiing

• This is the only Disney Resort within walking distance to Magic Kingdom.  You can also take the monorail around to Magic Kingdom but it is actually fast to just walk

• The Tower Rooms have an incredible view of either Magic Kingdom or Bay Lake.  You can watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks in the Magic Kingdom View Room or the Electrical Water Pageant in the Lake View Room so you get a great view in either location
