Frequently Asked Questions

about Disney Vacations

What is the Disney's FastPass® Service?

Disney's FastPass® Service is an alternative to waiting in the long Disney lines at the theme parks.  You use your entrance ticket to get a pass with a designated time to ride the attraction.  You can then enjoy another attraction, eat, shop, or whatever.  Simply return at your designated time and you proceed directly to the boarding area with very little wait time.  It's a wonderful alternative to waiting for an hour for a ride.

What is the slowest time to come to Orlando?

The best times to visit Disney World & Orlando are January-mid-February, August, September, October, after Thanksgiving in November, and the 1st two weeks of December.  These times are considered Value Season so you have fewer crowds and the lowest prices are available on the Disney Resorts.  It is a great time to visit.

What is a good park for children ages 1-3 years old?

Magic Kingdom® Park is a good park with Mickey's Toontown® Fair and Fantasyland® Area.  Beware that some of the rides in Fantasyland® Area have dark rooms and scary characters like Snow White's Scary Adventures & Peter Pan's Flight.  Another good park for toddlers is Universal Studios with their Woody Woodpecker's Kidzone where they have Barney, Curious George Goes to Town, and Fievel's Playland.  You could spend half a day in this child's playland.

What's a good park for teenagers?

By far the best park for teenagers is Universal Studios Islands of Adventure with several thrill rides including three roller coasters.  It's a fun park for teenagers and young adults!  Another good park for teenagers is the waterpark, Wet 'n Wild.  Wet 'n Wild has a wave pool, slides, and thrill rides making it fun for the whole family.

How much money should I bring for meals in the theme parks?

The price varies depending on the type of meal you want.  If you want a sit down meals at the Theme Parks range from $12.99 to $75 per adult (depending on the restaurant).  Most sit-down restaurants tend to be around $20-40 per adult.   The counter service meals range from $6-15 per adult.  You can save money on meals by ordering a kids meal or share an adult meal.  Both kids meals and adult meals have huge portions.  We always suggest purchasing the Disney Dining Plan if you are visiting Disney World.  This is an amazing price on meals at Disney World.  Click here for more details on the Disney Dining Plan.

Where can I get discount theme park tickets?

You can purchase discount theme park tickets on our site.  You can either pick up your tickets at Disney World or we can mail them to you.  There is no extra cost for shipping.  Pre-order your tickets and save money!  Click here for more info on tickets.

Where can I get a shuttle from the Airport to my hotel?

If you are staying at a Disney World Resort, you can take advantage of the free Magical Express shuttles and baggage handling.  Your Disney Specialist will assist you with your reservations for this free service.  If you are staying at Universal Studios, you can add a shuttle transfer to your package for a small fee.  If you are staying off property, you can take a taxi or call Transtar Transportation (800) 543-6681) for a shuttle to your hotel.
