As a past Cast Member, I am used to giving Magical Moments. However, it is always a special treat when I receive a Magical Moment. That is what happened to me yesterday at Disney World. So, what is a Magical Moment? This is a special gesture that a Disney Cast Member (Disney employee) gives a guest during a Disney World vacation. A Magical Moment can be something as simple as giving your child a Mickey Mouse sticker or having your child drive the boat during the Jungle Cruise. Disney is one of those amazing destinations that allow their Cast Members to go above and beyond to make your vacation more enjoyable - that is a Magical Moment.
Just yesterday, I was at Disney World to ride the Sea Raycers for the MousekeTIPS video. Besides our film crew, we also had some kids with us. We all rode the Sea Raycer boats and at the end of the ride, the Disney Cast Member announced that the kids were Captain's for the Day and the rides were free. We were excited that we got free rides on the Sea Raycer boats, but the kids were more excited that they were Captains. They talked about it all day! Just that little Magical Moment made their day.
Did you get a Magical Moment on your Disney World vacation? If yes, what was your Magical Moment? Leave a comment...

As a former castmember myself, I too was used to giving, not getting, Magical Moments. But our last trip, in February, I met a castmember for guest services at Magic Kingdom that just made my day. First, she saw my birthday button and said, “Amber, I have been looking for you everywhere! There’s someone that wants to see you!” and proceeded to take my husband and I for a special photo session with Cinderella. While waiting for Cindy, we were talking to her about how we had never had the Dole Whip. When I was a cast member, I worked at Epcot. And every single time I tried to go to MK, it was pouring rain or horrible weather. So I’ve really only been able to explore MK now, years later. Dole Whip just kept getting missed out. When we came out of our photo session, Carol had a voucher waiting for my husband and I, a special birthday treat of Dole Whip for both of us. And I’m happy to say that Dole Whip will NEVER be missed again
Most of my magical moments involve my older brother, Ryan. Ryan is now 25 almost 26 years old and wasn’t suppose to live 6 months. The last trip I went on to Disney was 2 years ago last week. It was our first time staying on site, and I couldn’t be more proud to be a Disney fan. Over the years we had had a few pictures with the different characters, but I think when my friend and I took Ryan to the characters fair was the best. Ryan was in a wheelchair that week, but they did not treat him different, the smile is still in my mind, but the one that was really priceless was when we went to see Figment. Ryan fell in love with Figment on our first trip down there in the early 90s. We were early for the time Figment was suppose to come out, the cast member saw Ryan and both she and Figment came out early for him. The look was priceless, and is our favorite picture from the trip was with Figment. I hope we are able to take him again someday soon. I know that it is the happiest place on earth, but for that week Ryan, myself, my younger brother, mom, and friend were treated like royalty it seemed. I can’t wait for my next Disney trip, and have the videos from that one to remember it by.
