When you travel, one of the most popular activities (besides eating) is shopping. Orlando has some unique stores and shopping locations to help you find souvenirs for everyone. Here are our Top 10 Shopping Spots in Orlando:
#10 - The Mall at Millenia - This is a luxury mall in Orlando. The Mall at Millenia features some incredible casual restaurants like California Pizza Kitchen and Johnny Rockets along with hundreds of luxury stores. Some of our favorite stores include Louis Vuitton , Neiman Marcus, Jimmy Choo, Tiffany & Co, and Bloomingdale's. It is a spectacular mall for any luxury shopper visiting Orlando!
#9 -Orlando International Airport - You may not think of the airport as a hot shopping spot, but in Orlando you can get some of those favorite souvenirs (you forgot to pick up at the Theme Parks or Attractions) on your way out of town. There are stores for Universal Studios, Disney World, Sea World, Kennedy Space Center and more. One of our favorite stores for kids is Kennedy Space Center. Pick up some astronaut food for the airplane ride home.
#8 - World Showcase at Epcot - Where else can you pick our your own pearl in Japan or buy a sombrero made in Mexico, all in one day. That is the World Showcase at Epcot. All of the souvenirs are made in the country you purchase them. All of the Disney Cast Members are also from the country, so be sure to ask them all about the history of the souvenirs and about their country. You can learn something on vacation!
#7 - Florida Mall - Locals love the Florida Mall, located right down the road from the Orlando International Airport. This Simon Mall features several of your regular favorites and then some very cool stores like The Disney Store, M&M's World, or Adrenalina. The Disney Store has great prices on the same type Disney merchandise you will find at the Disney Theme Parks. At Adrenalina, you can ride real surf waves in the middle of the mall. If you make a stop by the Food Court, you need to try a Five Brother Burger. Another one of the local favorites!
#6 - Disney's Days of Christmas - Since Christmas Season is coming soon, we had to mention one of the best Christmas Shops in Orlando called the Disney's Days of Christmas at Downtown Disney Marketplace. You can get an ornament to remember your Disney World vacation and even get it personalized with your name. Another fun part of this store if the photo opportunity right outside the shop with Goofy and Friends. This is a classic spot to get a picture for a family Christmas Card.
#5 - Prime One Outlet Mall - The original outlet mall in Orlando got a new name and has been renovated. This mall is better than ever with great shops all at outlet prices. Our favorite outlet store is Disney's Character Outlet. It is the same Disney Merchandise you find in the Disney Theme Parks or on the Disney Cruise Line, but at 50-60% off.
#4 - World of Disney at Downtown - This is the largest Disney merchandise store anywhere, so you do need to make a stop at World of Disney to pick up your Disney World merchandise. One of our favorite sections in the World of Disney is the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and Princess Store. This is the ultimate spot for Princesses of all ages.
#3 - CityWalk - For shopping, nightlife, and restaurants a prime stopping spot if CityWalk at Universal Studios. You can grab a bite to eat and leisurely wander through some fun shops including Margaritaville, Quiet Flight Surf Shop, Hard Rock store, and more.
