This year, you got a free day at the Disney Theme Parks on your birthday. Next year, it gets even better! You get a free day at the Disney Theme Parks when you volunteer in the community. Your whole family can get out and help someone else and everyone will get into a Disney Park for free. This brand new promotion kicked off this morning with an announcement on Good Morning America. Starting on January 1, 2010; you can sign up online with one of 70,000 organizations around the country to volunteer. After you volunteer, you will receive a certificate to redeem at Walt Disney World or Disneyland for a free day at your choice of Disney Parks.
If you are booking a Disney World Package or are an Annual Passholder, you can still take advantage of this promotion with these options:
- Disney’s Special FASTPASS® card for certain attractions for themselves and up to five additional members of their party
- A collectible Ear Hat figurine with exclusive trading pins
- Donate their ticket to a non-profit organization designated by Disney Parks
The new promotion is called Give a Day Get a Disney Day. Get out there and volunteer - it helps your community and now you will get a free day at Disney.
