In the past the Castaway Club membership meant in room goodies including a bag and Castaway Club drink cups and more. You also get a special invitation to the Castaway Club Party on board the ship with some of the officers. The Castaway Club is getting better and better! Disney recently updated the Castaway Club program to include even better perks. The Castaway Club Membership is now divided into three separate categories including Silver, Gold and Platinum. If you cruised for 1-4 times, you are considered a Silver member. If you cruised for 5-9 times, you are considered a Gold member and if you cruised for 10 or more times, you are considered a Platinum member.
One of the biggest perks for Gold and Platinum membership is the priority booking. Disney just released the 2011 itineraries including the popular 7-Night Alaska Cruise. Disney allows Gold and Platinum to book the 2011 cruises one week prior to the general public. This is a huge perk!
Some of the other perks including stateroom gift customized by your Castaway Club membership. Castaway Club members also get priority booking for Palo, spa services, and youth activities. There are even special private events on board for Gold and Platinum members. Disney Cruise is making repeat cruisers feel more special with extra magic.
