Disney's Typhoon Lagoon is the perfect day away from the Disney Theme Parks for some sun and fun. The Disney legend is that a furious storm once roared across the sea, hurling surfboards into trees, blowing small boats through roofs and impaling a shrimp boat on a peak of a great volcanic mountain. There are several extra fun attractions at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon. One of our favorites is Shark Reef. Imagine getting a training on using snorkeling equipment and then diving into a salt water pool with hundreds of tropical fish and sharks. Welcome to Shark Reef! For those guests that want to see all of the fish and stay dry, you can walk through the submarine and view the fish through the port holes.
