What’s New This Week!
Walt Disney World Resort in Florida
Disney MagicBands – testing is still in progress at select Disney Resorts at Walt Disney World. Guests staying at specific resorts may receive Bands for testing during their stay. Participation in the test is optional and guests who receive Bands will be asked for feedback after their stay. Register by creating a My Disney Experience account by logging on to www.DisneyWorld.com and follow the steps to link your resort reservation to your account. If you see an option to customize Magicbands, you can be part of the test!
New! Tour Disney’s Hollywood Studios with an Ambassador – Take a tour with a Disney Ambassador around this park and select attractions. The tour leaves the park entrance at 9:30 AM and reservations are required. One tour per day. Space is extremely limited and available by registration via the Disney Parks Blog only.
New! Get Spooky for the Year of the Ear – During your vacation, you can buy fun headbands for popular villains like the Evil Queen, Maleficent, the Queen of Hearts, and Ursula. Get your villain on with these fun ears!
Transportation from Animal Kingdom to Downtown Disney – Disney is testing a new transportation route now through October 31. Guests may not take bus transportation from Animal Kingdom Theme Park to Downtown Disney.Guests will be dropped off at the Downtown Disney West Side bus station, near Cirque du Soleil. They can then take a bus from Downtown Disney back to their resort or back to the Animal Kingdom parking lot. The service will operate 3 p.m.-1 a.m.
New! Princess Fairytale Hall – This new location for our favorite Princesses at Magic Kingdom Park opened September 18.
Magical Dining – This month kicks off the Orlando CVB Magical Dining Month. You can choose from a list of restaurants where you can enjoy a 3-course meal at a fantastic price. For example, Todd English’s bluezoo is only $33 per person for a 3-course meals at the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin.
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party – This popular special events for families is running throughout September and October at Magic Kingdom Park. This event runs from 7 PM-midnight. Contact your agent at Destinations in Florida for more details and reservations.

Resort Pool Parties – Now through the end of September, guests staying at the hotels of the Disneyland hotels can enjoy a little extra summertime magic with special pool parties each day! These one-hour pool parties are a chance for the whole family to get together to enjoy games, music and dancing. Check with your resort at check in for the latest pool party times.
New! Set Out on a “World’s Fair” Tour with a Disney Ambassador – Learn about the park history on this one hour tour, held daily with a Disney Ambassador. Reservations are required for is free tour. Contact your agent at Destinations in Florida for more details and reservations.

Halloween Horror Nights – Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights 23 will take place select nights starting this Friday Sept. 20 to Nov. 2. Tickets and vacation packages are on sale now. Due to the event’s popularity, tickets for weekend nights are expected to sell out and should be purchased well in advance.
